Elaine has a secret life. She is a princess with plenty of grace and good fortune. She's listened well to her instruction growing up and knows how to curtsy appropriately and how to greet nobility, but often you come across Elaine simply staring vacantly out the window or even at a wall.
If you startle Elaine out of these moments, she'll simply laugh and tell you she was thinking. If you ask her what she was thinking about, however, she'll never tell you. Elaine is a pretty and proper princess on the outside, but inside her mind she is any number of things.
